Don't get Blogged Down!

I am new to blogging, but I think this might be a great way to post thoughts. A friend at school shared a book with me about surviving cancer. One of the chapters said that writing and sharing your thoughts is a great way to gain perspective. I enjoy writing and maybe this will be a healthy exercise of slowing down, thinking, and being honest about my feelings. I will not let this be a burden. I keep a personal journal but this might be a good communication method also with my friends and family.
The picture is of myself and my best friend, soul-mate, and at this time my primary caregiver. I cannot imagine life without her. I hope you enjoy reading my random thoughts and stories as I become a cancer survivor. I am a blessed man and you will realize how truly blessed as I share my story the days ahead.
9 Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. 10 For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. 11 Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone? 12 Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Eccl 4:9-12 (NKJV)

Hi Kevin, I don't even know what a blog is but I want to be one of your many supporters. My prayers are with you daily. You have more faith than anyone I know. I just hope that by keeping up with your progress My faith will become at least half of what yours is. Stay strong, keep loving as you do and God will do many mighty works through you. Love in Christ

ljmhoHi Kevin,
I know that you will win this race also. What a great example of strength that you have with both parents. All the Weavers "and outlaws" send their prayers and positive strong thoughts. At least as strong as some of our old bodies can manage. Ha Just had to jab one more time the "outlaws" also. You know, the wonderful spouses that put up with the rambunctious Weavers. Your Mom is the only one that could take us all on and win!!
Hang tough guy, love you.

Kevin, Your faith is an inspiration to me. God will be glorified through you, because of your witness for Him.
What a beautiful Christian family you have; what more could a Godly man desire. My family and I, as well as my church family are praying for you and your family. God is faithful, and He is still in the healing business. I'm thankful for a Christian friend like you. Love you.

I really miss you at church. It has been hard for me because you are not here to take some of the spotlight off of Eddie! The church is suffering. I don't know how much longer this can go on!

Seriously though, I really miss you guys a lot! Mostly for selfish reasons I think. Y'all always make me feel so special and loved. Your family has been a model for me for a couple of years now. The things I have heard and seen the past few weeks are only a testament to that. My prayer continues to be for healing and for God to let you see this through his eyes.

Please let us know if we can do anything.

You cannot stay where you are and go with God.

Love,
Heather
